Silver Connections is an Adult Activities Center recently established in the Collinwood community to serve the 55+ population. This is an initiative to collaboratively improve the health and welfare of seniors who do not have access to daily physical activity accommodations. Our goal is to strategically provide programming that will address unhealthy lifestyles and elevate the awareness of the impact and dangers of sedentary living in disadvantaged communities.  

 

Silver Connections provides services and activities to seniors in communities of need. Our services will range from civic responsibility; education; enhancing job skills; healthy eating, dancing, computer literacy, and more. Silver Connections programs differ from many, in that we will provide one-on-one services as well as follow-up and untraditional senior activities, including partnering with other organizations through our Reaching and Touching Others (RTO) program. This program gives our seniors the opportunity to participate in public forums, charitable benefits, senior luncheons, and dinners.
